OTTAWA — The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a woman who did not return to the county jail after being released on a furlough. At 9:30 a.m. Friday, Breonna Jean Stephens, 22, was granted a furlough to attend the funeral of her grandfather, Frank Stephens. She was required to return to the jail after the funeral, but she has not been seen since. Stephens had been incarcerated on charges of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for drug manufacture and two counts of drug possession. Read More. |
