| Inmates celebrate earning high school diploma |

On Thursday, 13 inmates overcame obstacles to receive their high school diplomas. The students of the Department of Corrections’ Adult Success Academy graduated on Thursday. Not to be mistaken for GEDs, the students earned their high school diploma through the program. “Now that I’ve gotten my diploma, it’s renewed a feeling of trying to get ahead and trying to, you know, just achieve things in your life and better your life,” said graduate Brandon Tribble.
