SIOUX FALLS, S.D. Federal officials say an inmate has been recaptured after escaping a minimum security work camp in Yankton. Authorities say tips from the public helped locate 33-year-old Johnny Tiner. He was apprehended and re-arrested Saturday after he was spotted walking on a gravel road where Tiner then hid in a corn field in rural Hartington, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. He was unarmed, but was still wearing prison clothing when he was found. Tiner was also dehydrated and was taken to a hospital for evaluation. Read More. |
