| Wyoming Inmate Martinez Dies in Nebraska Hospital |

Torrington – Marcos Vincent Martinez, an inmate at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington, Wyoming, died Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska after a lengthy illness. Beginning in 1999 Martinez served a number of consecutive prison sentences in Wyoming. Most recently he was serving an 8-10 year sentence for Aggravated Assault and Battery in Fremont County. Martinez was born on October 23, 1967 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. As per departmental policy an autopsy has been ordered. |
