Officials say no rules were broken, after inmate claimed jail refused her pants, hygiene products

LOUISVILLE, Ky. —Courtroom video of Jefferson District Court Judge Amber Wolf went viral, after a defendant said jail employees refused to provide her pants and feminine hygiene products for days.

The video prompted questions regarding policies at the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections. But Director Mark Bolton said his agency did nothing wrong and he wants to set the record straight.

"What the hell is going on," said Judge Wolf in the courtroom video from Friday.

It was just before noon Friday when the defendant, Shavonne Salazar, 23, stepped in front of the judge. Salazar was picked up on a bench warrant related to a 2014 shoplifting charge. But the focus of her court appearance quickly shifted.
