LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A new program being rolled out in Louisville looks to give second chances for people charged with crimes who are dealing with mental health issues or addiction. City leaders celebrated the two-year, $600,000 Second Chance Reentry Grant Program on Tuesday. Seven Counties Services will partner with Louisville Metro Department of Corrections to give inmates a risk assessment to see if they would benefit from the program after getting court approval.
