HELENA - Martin Reap was sentenced on Tuesday for accepting bribes while working as a correctional officer at the Montana State Prison in Deer Lodge. Reap, 25 years old, was sentenced to 20 months imprisonment and five years of supervised release by U.S. District Court Judge Sam Haddon. The charge stemmed from a scheme in which Reap smuggled contraband, including controlled substances and tobacco, to inmates at the prison in exchange for bribes. Read More. |
