Corrections accidentally lets 2 inmates out early |

The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services revealed on Saturday it had inadvertently released two prison inmates from custody early. Both men were convicted in Lancaster County this year and both had been retrieved and were back in prison by Saturday, Corrections spokesman Dawn-Renee Smith said in a news release. The accidental releases come on the heels of the inadvertent early releases of hundreds of prison inmates in 2015 and a reworking of how discharge dates are calculated. Read More. |
