| Death of Klamath inmate ruled a suicide |

A Klamath Falls man found dead six weeks ago while in prison in Salem apparently caused his own death, according to the Oregon Department of Corrections (DOC). Dtanyum Arnold Huey, 45, was found unresponsive Jan. 17 in his cell at the Oregon State Penitentiary and, on Tuesday, DOC confirmed suicide was the cause of death. DOC spokesperson Betty Brent said the investigation into Huey’s death is closed and there were no suspicious circumstances. Brent did not describe how Huey died. Read More. |
