Davidson County officers train to support inmates with mental illness |

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The Davidson County Sheriff's Department is leading the nation in keeping people with mental illness out of jail. It's now the first in the country to require correctional behavioral health certification for jail workers.
