Drone, drugs, 10-inmate fight lock down Auburn Correctional Facility |

AUBURN, N.Y. -- Officers were closing the Auburn prison's recreational yard for the night on Tuesday when the brawl began. Inmates started to fight around 10 p.m. in the Auburn Correctional Facility's south yard, said James Miller, communications director for the New York State Correctional Officers & Police Benevolent Association. As more and more inmates joined the fray, the fight grew to include about 10 men, he said. Correction officers rushed into the yard of the 135 State St. prison and tried to break up the brawl.
