| Escaped Valdosta offender returned without incident |

VALDOSTA, Ga. (WCTV) -- Georgia Department of Corrections officials confirm a resident from their Transitional Center in Valdosta has escaped. Public Affairs says Trayvon Terry walked away from the facility at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. He was convicted in Henry County in 2011 for Aggravated Assault and his maximum release date is set for May 2018. Terry was last seen wearing civilian clothing.
