Marion County Jail inmate dies of apparent suicide |

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – A female inmate was found unresponsive Monday night at the Marion County Jail and declared dead a short time later, Fox59 reported. The woman was found inside her cell around 8:51 p.m. and pronounced dead at 9:30 p.m. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office identified the inmate as 35-year-old Miranda Peoples. She’d been held at the jail since June 17 on charges of possession of a narcotic, possession of cocaine and possession of a syringe. According to the sheriff’s office, Peoples’ death is an apparent suicide and no foul play is suspected. Read More. |
