Virginia Beach Sheriff's Office looking for donations for inmate book library

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- The Virginia Beach Sheriff's office is asking for the publics help stocking the shelves of its inmate library.

They are always in need of donations, especially as books become damaged or worn out. The sheriff's office suggests giving old paperback books and magazines.

If you would like to donate, they do ask to refrain from donating hardcover books and material that contain sexually explicit material, advocate violence or provide technical information that could compromise facility security.
