| Officials Search For Escaped Inmate |

HARLAN COUNTY, Ky. (The Harlan Daily Enterprise)-- Officials are searching for an inmate after they say he fled from work detail. At approximately 12:50 a.m. Monday, Harlan County Detention Center staff reported that inmate Jason Schooler ran from the State Road Crews Inmate Work Detail while cutting the roadways in the Shields area near Evarts. Schooler, 41, is described as a white male standing 6 feet tall and weighing 180 pounds. He has a fair skin tone and medium build with brown hair and brown eyes. Read More. |
