|Inmate back in custody after escape from Canyon County tent facility|
An inmate is back in custody after yet another escape from the Canyon County minimum-security tent facility.
The Canyon County Sheriff's Office says Eric Garcia was taken into custody almost immediately after his escape. Investigators say he cut through siding in the shower area and then climbed over a 10-foot fence with razor wire to escape. The Caldwell Police Department took Garcia back into custody. He was being held on charges of felony domestic battery with traumatic injury, felony attempted strangulation and a felony parole violation.
This is just the latest in a series of escapes from the minimum-security facility and comes after recent upgrades to keep inmates inside.
