Officials: Ingham jail inmate, 41, died of heart disease |

MASON - The June death of an inmate at the Ingham County Jail was due to natural causes, officials said today. Christopher Earl Martin, 41, of Lansing, was booked into the jail June 13 on a warrant for failure to appear. Two days later, shortly after being arraigned on the charge, he was found unresponsive in the receiving area of the jail. Officials said after Martin's death that he'd shown no signs of being in distress shortly before he was found unresponsive. Read More. |
