Lorain County Sheriff's Office searching for escaped jail inmate |

ELYRIA, Ohio -- The Lorain County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who escaped from a jail van Thursday morning. Desmond Ligon escaped at 9:18 a.m. from the Lorain County Community Based Correctional Facility (CBCF) van near the area of Middle Avenue and 3rd Street in Elyria, the sheriff's office said in a news release. Deputies and officers with Elyria police were called to the area, but were unable to locate Ligon. Read More. |
