Update: Jimmy Wayne Blair was located and taken into custody in Floyd County around 11 p.m. , Sheriff Jeff Shaver said. Original story continues below. The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office is looking for a work release inmate who escaped from a job site on Monday morning. Jimmy Wayne Blair Jr., 40, was jailed on property crime charges last year, according to court records. He was working at a construction site in Centre when he left in a truck belonging to his employer at 10:30 a.m., the sheriff's office said. Blair was jailed on property crimes. Read More. |
