Task force tackles drug distribution at Dover jail |

DOVER — Officials investigating drug distribution at Strafford County House of Corrections have pressed charges against two people, and three cases were recently sent to the U.S. Attorney in Concord for review. A special task force was put into place after three inmates were transported to the hospital June 6 after overdosing on a non-opioid substance that was sent through the mail system. Five inmates were affected by the drugs. Jail officials changed their policies, and now inmates use electronic tablets to communicate with friends and loved ones. Read More. |
