Teen inmate in critical condition, found unconscious in cell |

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — Authorities in Virginia say a 17-year-old male is in critical condition after he was found unresponsive in a courthouse holding cell. Lt. Colonel Michael O’Toole of the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office said in a statement Thursday that foul play is not suspected. O’Toole did not release details regarding why the teen was being held in the city’s downtown courthouse. The teen was found at about 11 a.m., in the holding cell of a 5th floor courtroom.
