Nueces County Jail confirms inmate death overnight |

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - Nueces County Jail officials have confirmed that an inmate died overnight on their medical floor. They said he had numerous medical issues, but the official cause of death is unknown at this time. The deceased inmate was identified as 32-year-old Gabriel Trevino. Authorities said the inmate was on the medical floor with back problems and that he had an extensive medical file for various issues, none of which were life threatening. The inmate was awaiting transfer to prison to serve five years for assault. He also had a pending felony drug case in the district courts. Read More. |
