Prison escapees have lengthy criminal records |

(AL.com) — Two inmates who are on the run after a Monday-morning escape from an Alabama prison have lengthy criminal histories in Jefferson County, including the rape and sexual torture of a woman in Hoover at the hands of one of the escapees. Ronald Odell King and Antwone Wilson, both 27, were last seen at the St. Clair Correctional Facility at 5:15 a.m. Monday, according to the Alabama Department of Corrections. Authorities have not said how they made their getaway. King, according to the ADOC release, is serving 50 years on a burglary conviction out of Jefferson County. Court records show, however, show he also was convicted of first-degree rape, sexual torture and abuse and first-degree robbery. Read More. |
