2nd Inmate Pleads Guilty in Jail Fire |

ROLLA, Mo. -- A second man accused of setting fires in the Texas County Jail in June of 2017 has pleaded guilty and been sentenced to 10 years in prison. David Cook, 35, of Mountain Grove, was one of three inmates charged with first degree arson for a fire set June 26th. He pleaded guilty on Wednesday (12/13/2017) in Phelps County before a trial was set to begin at 8:30 a.m. Cody Stafford, 29, pleaded guilty to the charge on Dec. 5 and was sentenced to 10 years for the crime.
