Jefferson County Inmate Found Dead |

A detainee at Jefferson County’s adult jail, the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center (DBDC) was found dead in his cell just after 9 a.m. Wednesday. Robert Jones, 49, of Pine Bluff was found unresponsive in his cell during a routine security check of the single person cell occupied by Jones. Detention center medical staff accompanied by deputy jailers entered the cell and found that Jones was unresponsive. Paramedics were dispatched and arrived a short time later in order to assess the welfare of Jones. Read More. |
