OKLAHOMA CITY - One person is in custody Tuesday morning following a high-speed pursuit and standoff in northwest Oklahoma City, police said. According to officials around 3:15 a.m. The University of Oklahoma police department attempted to pull over the suspect near the OU Health Sciences Center. The suspect, identified as 28-year-old Gordon Turnipseed stopped for police and then fled, initiating the chase, according to authorities. Oklahoma Highway Patrol was called to assist in the pursuit.
