STEUBENVILLE — An escaped inmate from the Harrison County Jail is back behind bars after being on the run for two weeks. Jason Groff, 32, was apprehended Saturday by deputies from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department. He allegedly escaped from the jail June 8 and is now facing additional charges. Groff was originally arrested and taken to jail after he failed to report to the probation department following a February conviction of aggravated possession of drugs. Read More. |
