Texarkana corrections officers are following all leads in hopes of tracking down an inmate who never returned from work release. Hugo Campagne, 35, was let out of the Texarkana Regional Correction Center for work Saturday morning, but he did not return with the other work-release inmates that evening. Warden Larry Cauley said Campagne, who was serving a 10-year sentence for manufacturing drugs, is not dangerous. He is described as white, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 245 pounds, with salt-and-pepper hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of praying hands and a cross on the left side of his chest. Eight extra people were called in Sunday to help with the search, Cauley said. Anyone who has seen Campagne or who knows where he is should notify the police, he said. |
