The Alliance for Justice is now accepting applications for its Co/Motion Youth Gun Violence Prevention Initiative Challenge Grants, which support campaigns to prevent gun violence that are designed and led by young people. Programs that have demonstrated leadership, vision and commitment to youth should apply for the challenge grants. Grantees must partner with the Co/Motion program to design and execute a year-long, youth-led prevention campaign, which will include technical assistance, training, and program evaluation. Matching grants of up to $10,000 will be awarded. Only youth groups affiliated with a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization or government agency may apply. For information, contact Kellye McIntosh, Alliance for Justice Co/Motion Program, 11 Dupont Circle N.W., Second Floor, Washington, DC 20036; 202-822-6070; fax 202-822-6068; kellye@afj.org. |
