California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation licenses ATG systems |

Article: West Des Moines, January 17, 2007: The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) has licensed two applications in ATG's Offender Management Suite. The Trust Fund Administration and Commissary Operations are being customized to precisely fit CDCR's requirements. The integrated solution will be called Trust, Restitution, Accounting and Commissary System (TRACS). TRACS will manage inmate accounts, restitution collection, and commissary operations at all CDCR prisons and camps. About CDCR The CDCR operates and manages California's thirty-three prisons, oversees a variety of community correctional facilities, manages thirty-seven camps (minimum custody facilities located in wilderness areas), and supervises parolees during their re-entry into society. The CDCR institutions and facilities house over 160,000 inmates. As part of its responsibilities, CDCR provides for an inmate's basic needs, including food, clothing, shelter, and health care. Each institution operates independently and provides these services on a local basis. About ATG ATG is an Iowa based company that has developed software solutions designed to support mission critical operations for large correctional agencies. ATG's Offender Management Suite is a set of integrated applications which help correctional agencies manage all offenders under supervision. The systems support offenders across the entire supervison are specifically designed to support activities for all offenders: pretrial, probation, prison, and parole. The suite includes Trust Fund Accounting, Commissary Operations, Inmate Telephone System, Case Management, Electronic Medical Records, Pharmacy Administration, Inmate Email, Digital Phone Recorder, Food Service Administration, Intelligence System and Performance Based Measures System.
