NH Prison Report Being Reviewed

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) ― New Hampshire officials are meeting to review a report on the state's prisons that recommends ways to reduce recidivism to save money.

The Council of State Governments Justice Center says New Hampshire can potentially save millions of dollars if it radically alters how it handles freed inmates returned to prison.

Representatives of all three branches of state government have been working with the Justice Center since September.
