LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Officials in the state of Washington say they'll continue rejecting parolees and probationers from Arkansas despite the policy apparently violating an interstate compact. Washington officials stopped accepting Arkansas parolees and probationers after former Arkansas inmate Maurice Clemmons was accused of shooting and killing four police officers in Lakewood, Washington. The Interstate Commission for Adult Offender Supervision said Monday that Washington can't legally impose requirements that are not part of an interstate compact concerning parolees and probationers. If that isn't the stupidest thing I ever heard of. One parolee committs a serious crime so they ban them from the whole state. Sounds like the thought process of a politician. Well, they'll re-elect me now cuz I don't let them mean Arkansans in the state!!! What a dork!!!!
