Killer To Be Released Before 50 Year Sentence Is Up |

A man implicated in the 1983 murder and rape of a Green Bay woman is being released from prison and will live in Berlin, authorities there said today. Denice “Bobber” Stumpner, 57, was serving a 50-year prison sentence for his role in the crime but hits his mandatory release date on Thursday. He was convicted in 1988 of being party to first-degree sexual assault, kidnapping and aggravated battery. He was one of four men associated with the death of Margaret Anderson in December 1983.
