Pasco escapee explains what multiple escapes entailed |

When Jason Adams walked away from a Department of Corrections work detail in Pasco County in September, he tells News Channel Eight he didn't have a plan. Adams claims he walked to State Road 54, caught a cab to Tampa's Greyhound bus station and then called the mother of one of this children. “I actually told them before they assigned me outside detail I didn't feel comfortable going out, that I wanted to stay in. They said basically since I was under five years, I was put out into a work detail,” said Adams, who said he was uncomfortable with the temptation that came with the work detail.
