| Bradford County jail gets 'fully compliant' rating on state inspection |

WEST BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP - At their meeting on Thursday, the Bradford County commissioners highlighted improvements that have been made at the Bradford County Manor and announced that the Bradford County Correctional Facility was rated fully compliant with all regulations on its latest state inspection. The state Department of Corrections recently changed the system for scoring its inspections of county jails, Bradford County jail Warden Donald Stewart said. In the past, county jails received a percentage score on their Pennsylvania state inspections, he said. For example, "you could get a 96 percent, or an 80 percent, or a 100 percent," he said. Now, jails are rated by the state as being either fully compliant with all regulations or not fully compliant, he said. Read More. |
