CROFTON, Neb. – An escaped South Dakota inmate who was the subject of a manhunt Monday in northeast Nebraska apparently left the area and headed to Sioux Falls, authorities said late Monday night. David Holloway, who has been missing for the past week, was spotted Monday night in the Sioux Falls area, according to the Sioux Falls Argus Leader. An officer spotted Holloway in a white Ford F-150 pickup that was reported stolen out of Nebraska, according to emergency communications. Holloway was talking with people outside a home on East Clark Street in Sioux Falls and was last seen fleeing eastbound on Highway 11. Authorities confirmed an escaped inmate was taken into custody after a citizen blocked his vehicle, the Argus Leader reported on its Twitter account. Read More. |
