MIDWAY, Ga. (WJCL) — Liberty County Sheriff’s Office deputies believe an escaped prisoner has left Liberty County. They have stopped their search. But U.S. Marshals are following up on other leads.

Just after 2:00 p.m. Monday afternoon, multiple agencies including U.S. Marshals and the Liberty County Sheriffs office began searching for 23 year old Chaney Hankins.
