Georgia inmate serving life sentence escapes prison |

HAMILTON, Ga. – A man who is serving a life sentence escaped from the Georgia Department of Corrections in Troup County and has been on the run for the past several days. Authorities say the man may have a weapon. Hamilton is about 90 minutes south of Atlanta between LaGrange and Columbus. Donald Castleberry, 47, reportedly did not return to the correctional facility’s transitional center Saturday.
