A McAlester prison escapee apprehended Thursday night was taken into custody after he led authorities on a high-speed motorcycle chase, officials said. Ronald Thomas Jr. escaped from Jackie Brannon Correction Center Monday. He was observed running from the prison and hopping into a white pickup truck. His whereabouts remained a mystery until Thursday night. Authorities in Sapulpa said around 9:40 p.m. a police officer spotted Thomas and recognized him. Read More. |
