Alaska State Troopers say two inmates were caught as they tried to escape from the Seward prison. The Alaska Dispatch News reports the inmates were detained as they tried to climb a wall at the Spring Creek Correctional Facility. Alaska Department of Corrections officials say the inmates tried to climb an inner perimeter fence in the prison recreation yard at 7:45 p.m. Thursday.
