Prison officials are searching for a minimum-security inmate who walked away from a Julian prison camp Monday, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. The staff at La Cima Conservation Camp first noticed Jesse Lozano, 41, was missing at 2:30 p.m. They searched the dormitory area, surrounding buildings and the perimeter, but their search came up with nothing. All law enforcement agencies nearby were notified of Lozano's disappearance and are helping with the hunt. The camp is located at 15108 Sunrise Highway in Julian. Read More. |
