2 women arrested, accused of trying to throw cell phones over Alabama prison fence |

Alabama Department of Corrections correctional officers caught two women attempting to throw a package containing cell phones over the fence at a Montgomery prison on Tuesday night, court records allege. Sharieffa Sanders and Dominique Burt, both 30 and of Montgomery, were taken into custody by correctional officers and charged with promoting prison contraband, their arrest warrants state. They are being held on $7,500 bond. According to court records, Sanders and Burt are accused of entering the parking lot of Kilby Correctional Facility and backing their vehicle up to the prison fence. Read More. |
