| Two Spring Creek inmates attempt to climb fence |

Two inmates at Spring Creek Correctional Center tried to climb an inner perimeter fence in the recreation yard on June 11, according to Alaska State Troopers. The two were detained by corrections officers. According to the Department of Corrections when an inmate breaches the fence, an alleged escape attempt is considered.
