A Stark County man, who is considered a "person of interest" in a Ravenna area shooting, is being held on a half million dollar bond pending a court appearance next week. David Allen Hoover, 32, of Canton, is set to appear before Canton Municipal Court Judge John A. Poulos at 9 a.m. Wednesday for a preliminary hearing on a charge of escape, a third-degree felony. He was wanted for questioning in the shooting of Yolanda L. Jackson, 50, in the front yard of a Ravenna residence on June 5. The escape charge stems from a parole violation.
