Inmates hiding in false car trunks, blowing themselves up accidentally while making bombs, and using female accomplices. These are all just pieces of multiple escape stories from Massachusetts prisons over the last few decades. Athough the nation’s attention is on the escaped convicts from a New York maximum facility prison, Robert McGuiness, an investigator with the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department, says there are a number of unique stories in this state.
