Escaped prisoner captured by police in Jacksonville |

A 24-year-old state prisoner who escaped while on work detail in West Jacksonville has been captured by police according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s office. Shayne Cooper-Olin was serving time for burglary, grand theft and arson when he escaped during his work detail on Jacksonville’s Westside. According to the Department of Corrections website, Olin was serving time at the Baker County Work Camp and he has less than a year left on his sentence before his escape. Read More. |
