| Special Olympics torch makes its way through Solano County |

Triple digits couldn’t stop law enforcement officers and Special Olympics athletes from running to deliver the games’ torch through Northern Solano County and into Dixon on Thursday. By Thursday afternoon, the torch, known as the “Flame of Hope,” had taken the scenic route through the county, via every law enforcement agency in the area. The Solano County Law Enforcement Torch Run is a fundraiser for the Special Olympics Northern California.
