Several hours later around 7:30 p.m. Beagley was apprehended in Johnson, Kan., following a pursuit, according to the Colorado Department of Corrections. Beagley is described as white, 5-foot-10, 220 pounds, bald with hazel eyes and glasses. He was last seen wearing a green prison uniform with a green reflective safety vest and either black or tan boots. Douglas Beagley, 62, an inmate at the Trinidad Correctional Facility fled from an assigned outside work crew about 3:20 p.m., the Colorado Department of Corrections said in a news release.
