| Fatal Stabbing Reported at Bullock County Correctional Facility |

Montgomery, AL The Alabama Department of Corrections is investigating a fatal stabbing of an inmate at the Bullock County Correctional Facility in Union Springs, Ala. Clemente Curry, 37, was stabbed inside a housing unit of the facility during an altercation with another inmate at approximately 5:15 a.m. on Thursday. Curry died while en route to an off-site medical facility. Latahdrick Perkins is a suspect in the stabbing. Perkins is serving a 35-year sentence on a 2011 murder conviction in Montgomery County.
