JANESVILLE, Wis. (AP) -- The death of a 39-year-old inmate in the Rock County Jail is under investigation. An autopsy Tuesday in Dane County could reveal more about what caused the man's death. A jailer radioed for help about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday after the inmate became ill and had trouble breathing. The jail nurse and other staff began life-saving measures and the inmate was transported to Mercy Hospital. Read More. |
